Al Ain, also called the "Oasis City", will mesmerize you with its abundance of lush green gardens, beautiful decorated streets and wide boulevards. This tour will take around 9 hours.
Our first stop will be the picturesque Al Jahili Fort, one of UAE's most historic buildings. It has been carefully restored and housed a permanent exhibition of the work of British adventurer Sir Wilfred Thesiger.
We will expolorer further the Emirate's heritage heartland by visiting Al Ain National Museum, where you will get an insight into the various aspects of UAE life with an interesting collection of Bedouin artefacts and Al Ain Palace Museum, former home of the late UAE founder, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Here you can tour the private rooms and gardens once occupied by the "Father of the Nation".
After lunch in a local restaurant, you will then have the chance to visit the regions only remaining camel market, and buy a camel at a bargain price!
However, your tour will not be complete until by strolling through the palm trees of the enchanting oasis, where you will be able to admire an excellent example of the ancient falaj irrigation system. Al Ain is a place where visitors will find 17 UNESCO World Heritage listed sites, so why not take a trip back in time?
